Anna Bauer has joined the team as head of women’s wear design and this is her debut collection for Won Hundred.
There is an easy and comfortable approach to the collection where classic feminine elements are combined with sporty themes; convenient yet fresh.
True to Won Hundred’s signature the silhouettes are kept clean and simple; they vary from cropped and boxy to long and slim. Halterneck is an on going detail on knit, sweat and jersey together with wide elbow length sleeves inspired by the kimono.
A gently fresh palette of greens and violets dominate the collection combined with classic colours such as black, white and tones of greys and blues. The sporty references are seen in a wide range of fabrics. From transparent lightweights, soft fleece, sport inspired jerseys to leather, suede and stretch denim. Prints are kept simple with vertical stripes on sweats and denim, blurry all-over floral prints and faded dot all-over print.
The denim collection is even bigger this season and made to blend in with the main collection with the same colour palettes and prints. The popular loose fit Kelly jeans from the previous season are seen in a short version as well as striped knee-length denim skirts and Bermuda shorts in pastel colours.
The shoe collection continues to grow with sneakers, mirror effect and prints on leather pumps and flat sandals –a clear reflection of the overall inspiration.
